Kind and laid back staff. Portions proportional to cost, like days gone past. I mean I ordered a burrito and asked for a "to go" box as she delivered the meal. And they are not shy at all when pouring a nice stiff drink. I felt like a guest at someone's home.
Love this place. The portions are enormous. So much food for an amazing price. Complementary chips are hot out of the fryer and the salsa is fresh along with pickled vegetables. They offer dining sit down inside with social distancing and a couple of tables outside. If you are looking for sit down dining and Mexican food, check this place out.
Great selection. Not much heat and spice, salsa is great and unique. Pleasant service and no wait to be seated. Plenty of parking in the back.
The Wednesday lunch special of two enchiladas with rice and beans for only 9.50 was a steal! Solid family-style Mexican food served with chips and salsa, and a pickled cabbage slaw which was nice to have. Colorful Mexican decor inside, Root sports on the TVs, friendly and fast service. The food came out quickly and piping hot. Spacious place for a workday lunch, and has a couple large tables that would seat a group. Margaritas etc available, but I didn't get any. Soft drinks 4 with 1 refills. Normally mains are closer to 16-20.
Being from SoCal, I’m pretty picky with my Mexican Food. This really hit the spot for my craving. Perfect balance of flavor and mild spice. Plus they added in freshly made warm chips and salsa. The burrito is MASSIVE and the side of rice/beans was only 1.99. Really generous portion sizes
This place makes me happier than a kid waking up on Christmas morning! The portions are huge, the chips and salsa are complementary (the cabbage salsa has my heart), and the decor is exquisite. I can’t get enough, reminds me of the restaurants I grew up with in the 90’s in the best way possible.
Solid, old school Mexican American offerings... Love the chile relleno, fajitas, chili verde. This is a great place to go with lots of friends and family. The prices are reasonable for the huge portions and quality. My best friend insisted on coming here twice in one week, she loved her food so much. Service is quick and kind. Food comes out fast and hot. Parking is easy in the back, it's easy to pay and only a few bucks.
This place has been an all time favorite since I was a little kid and to be back in the area and have their food and the nostalgia that hit me eating it was so special to me. Such friendly waiters a waitresses. Such a calm yet friendly atmosphere. I have always loved this place since I could remember.
